Lincoln Park recently received two new additions.
The West Lafayette Public Library has placed a book return at the park. This drop box can be used to return any WLPL material. The book return is now available for use and will receive a permanent West Lafayette library sign in the near future.
Another new West Lafayette library drop box can be found at Lommel Park, located in the Barbarry Heights neighborhood. For any questions regarding the Lincoln and Lommel Park drop boxes contact the West Lafayette Public Library at 765-743-2261.
Lincoln Park also now features a Little Free Library, adding to the many already in our neighborhood and around the city. This free book exchange is available to all.
The other two in New Chauncey are on Rose St. near the Happy Hollow Park entrance and in front of New Chauncey Housing on Littleton St.
The 16th Annual Meet & Greet is looking for neighborhood volunteers to help introduce the new Purdue students to the community. Walk around with your friends and neighbors on Monday August 24, 2015 from 6-7pm (or longer if you like) handing out packets of information, striking up conversations, and welcoming new people to the City.
The group will meet in the MSEE Foyer on Northwestern Ave:
Parking available in Northwestern Garage after 5:00 p.m.
This event is sponsored by Purdue University and the City of West Lafayette Community Partnership Team.

It is that time of year again and the New Chauncey Leadership team is planning this year’s annual Labor Day Picnic:
Monday September 7th
5:00 p.m. @ Lincoln Park
An evite will be sent in a bit, but we wanted to get the information on the web site. As usual, NCNA will provide burgers and dogs (meat and non-meat options), along with water and lemonade. We ask that everyone bring their own table service and something to share.
Please help spread the word!
To get you excited for this year’s event, here are some pictures from last year’s event:
